Inclusions
To view inclusions, jewelers & gemologists use a 10 magnification loupe, this is the industry standard for grading diamonds at a preliminarily level. The position of the inclusions in the diamond may greatly affect the clarity grading and value of the stone, depending on there visibly to the naked eye. The naked eye is what most people will ever view a diamond with so if the diamond is clean to the eye this is a very positive point for the stone. Basically put, the higher the clarity, the cleaner the diamond, the rarer the stone.
